If the hype was to be believed we are amidst a new era of gaming. Journeymen on a wild frontier where Mass Effect developers EA celebrate it’s launch by blasting copies of the game into space. On the Xbox we have controller-less interface Kinect taking us into new realms of interaction: waving our arms around. But In Jay Mansion I have neither.
Breadsticks, lesbian wizards and dragon flatulence all in the latest instalment of the excellent Two Dudes Review. This time we see Jay and Alex larking about in the woods to review Bethesda’s epic Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
So a few days ago Valve announced that Steam for mobiles would be coming soon, and in the meantime there would be a closed beta for which you could apply from within the app itself. If you weren’t one of the lucky few (and there were quite a few) we have compiled a little test drive of the app, and rather snazzy it is too.
I’m supposed to by organising my house moving, writing reviews and doing ‘real’ work. However when I saw this mod for the ever-expanding Skyrim, I had to share it with the world.
The beauty of Skyrim is the massive level of customisation, and when the Creation Kit is released next week, we can expect more genius like the video below.

You know that fantasy game, the one that involves a lot of walking? Um… Skyrim I think its called; we may have mentioned it on this site once or twice before. Well a talented young lady has released a cover version of the song The Dragonborn Comes. I’m rather late to the party as this was originally put on YouTube at the end of November. If you saw the Left 4 Dead fan film trailer the other day, then like us you will most likely have been looking forward to a beautifully shot, evocative, serious, tense zombie thriller.
You may be disappointed, or pleasantly surprised with the full article depending on whether ridiculous, hyperbolic action and out-of-place plot events are up your street or not.
Team TbW are having a spiffing time here in Skyrim, so much so, we appear to have written, err, very little. Sorry about that.
