So a few days ago Valve announced that Steam for mobiles would be coming soon, and in the meantime there would be a closed beta for which you could apply from within the app itself. If you weren’t one of the lucky few (and there were quite a few) we have compiled a little test drive of the app, and rather snazzy it is too.
Yup, you ‘eard. Great news for all us mouse-jockeys who love us some cheap cloud-based gameage. Unlike the 3rd party apps we’ve seen so far, Steam Mobile will now allow users to chat to their Steam pals and also hit the shop. What else are you going to do on the bus other than conceal your untimely unprovoked erection?
Steam Mobile is currently in closed beta, but you can beg pathetically to join the beta from within the app like the wee-stained wierd kid on the doorstep of an epic party trying to get in. Yeah, don’t worry, we’ve all been there.
