The good old Steam holiday sale is back. This Halloween themed one contains many creepy-themed games, but a couple are just thrown in for fun. I’ve also discovered that not all games listed, are the best price. I’ve found better deals elsewhere (some on steam even).

DX- HR - Missing Link 1

…is now available on Steam. According to Square Enix the ‘Mission Link’ (as I like to call it) DLC takes place during Adam’s 3 day boat trip. This was skipped over in the vanilla game for plot spoiling reasons. Now we get to play it out.

Perhaps due to design necessity or just wanting to give players more choice, Mr. Jensen loses all his augmentations allowing you to re-kit him with new toys… I mean tools. Continue reading

Portal2 - Atlas & P-Body

The new DLC for Portal 2 was released today for free!

A quick catchup for those of you who haven’t played a Portal game; and if that includes you, I’d highly recommend playing the demo to Portal 1 which can be found on Steam. Put simply this game combines logical puzzle solving, Escher-esque physics and traditional FPS mechanics. The puzzles involve getting from point A to point B with an obstacle or twelve inbetween. The Portals create a fun and noggin-bending mechanism for getting around the levels. Well worth a look if you’ve not played it before.
