As some of the hardcore modders will know and lament, the Skyrim creation tool that was previously to be released in January has been pushed back to February. But it’s ok for two reasons. Firstly: that’s the month we’re in! Secondly: they have released this very tasty video to tease us silly, and my word it looks wondrous.
Its been a while since I last posted. Real life is crazy-busy at the moment, but when I saw this I just had to put everything down and tell the world.
You know that fantasy game, the one that involves a lot of walking? Um… Skyrim I think its called; we may have mentioned it on this site once or twice before. Well a talented young lady has released a cover version of the song The Dragonborn Comes. I’m rather late to the party as this was originally put on YouTube at the end of November. Getting me to review Skyrim is a lot like getting Charlie Sheen to review a metric tonne of cocaine. Sure, it’ll be blast, but just you try getting that review out of him. I lost weeks, nay– months to the previous Elder Scrolls games, why oh why did I think that this would be any different…

Team TbW are having a spiffing time here in Skyrim, so much so, we appear to have written, err, very little. Sorry about that.
By way of apology please accept these moving postcards of our trip that we managed to take in between being hassled by locals to do odd-jobs, bothered by the prevalent dragon pest problem and being stalked by this weird idiot-woman called Lydia, who persistently follows us around whilst staring blankly at us.
Shopping for birthday presents can be a arduous tiresome experience. Thankfully on my return I was greeted by a shiny new Skyrim trailer. In my exhausted state, and ignoring the “you are over-encumbered” message floating in front of me; I prepared myself for another bombastic roller-coaster of thrills and (blood) spills.
Instead my tired eyes and brain were pleasantly surprised by this soothing and very confident video. You won’t find Michael Bay anywhere near this one…
Today marks our one month birthday, and what a fine month it has been too. In fact, it’s been so fine we’re celebrating by giving away a copy of the much anticipated Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in the format of your choice* to a lucky winner on release day. Continue reading →
